How do I flatten layers in my images while using Adobe Photoshop?

Images created in Adobe Photoshop may contain many active layers. Such images need to be flattened before they can be successfully imported into Benchmark Email.

  To flatten photoshop layers:

  Open your image in Photoshop.

Choose the Layers menu from the top menu bar and select Flatten Image.

Resave the image as a .jpg, .gif or png.

Alternately, you can flatten the image by saving the image as optimized for webpage. To do this, click File in your upper menu bar and choose Save for Web & Devices from the dropdown options. Click Save.
